Welcome to the Thayer Sports Center
The Thayer Sports Center, is a 90,000 sq. ft. multi use recreation facility that will feature one NHL regulation ice surfaces, one half ice surface, indoor synthetic turf field, multi surface court, function rooms and much more! All of this will be conveniently located on the Thayer Academy South Athletic Campus 1535 Washington Street.

The Thayer Sports Center is a modern, multi-sport facility designed to support year-round training, competition, and community programming. The complex features one and a half ice surfaces, including an NHL-quality rink and studio rink, along with a versatile indoor fieldhouse that converts between turf and court space for sports such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, and pickleball. Athletes and visitors also benefit from dedicated fitness and training areas, locker rooms, team spaces, spectator viewing, and hospitality amenities, creating a complete experience for players, families, and event organizers alike.
Our Surfaces
Thayer Sports Center is home to an NHL-sized ice surface and a half ice service perfect for training and skills. TSC also houses a multi-surface court for pickleball and tennis, as well as an indoor synthetic turf field
